Maui has been voted "Best Island in the U.S." by Condé Nast Traveler readers for more than 20 years. We will start our adventure in the historic town of Paia on Maui's north coast. Divided into Lower Pāʻia and Pāʻia, this hospitable community was once a booming plantation town during the heyday of Maui's sugar cane industry. Today Pāʻia is a town of colorful, rustic storefronts filled with local art galleries, one-of-a-kind shopping boutiques and restaurants. Then we head to upcountry Maui at a tropical plantation estate where we will paint with a local artist.
